Ted K. Hayse, 81, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on September 29, 1940 to Clyde Homer and Grace Louise Adams Hayse. Ted was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Marked Tree, Arkansas and he was saved at the age of 65. He served his country in the Army National Guard, he enjoyed playing baseball as a teen and he loved horses, his Harley, gospel singing and living his life to the fullest.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Alton Roy Hayse, Jake Hayse, John Hayse and Michael Hayse, and one sister: Susie Hayse.
Ted is survived by his wife of 20 years: Doreen Chronister Hayse of the home, one son: Rodney Hayse of Trumann, Arkansas, two daughters: Misti Dawn (Matt) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Kristy Hatley (Shon) of Harrisburg, Arkansas, two sisters: Glenda Jones of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Jackie Cochran (Greg) of Marked Tree, Arkansas, ten grandchild: Laura, Lindsey, Jordan, Devan, Tara, Ty, Jared, Hayden, Carley and Cade, twelve great grandchildren: Brandon, Molli, Cash, Wyatt, Addison, Greenley, Beckham, Ryder, Hayse, Riverlynn, Naomi, Jace and 2 on the way, a special niece: Sonya “Shady” Bishop (BJ), a special great nephew Billy John Bishop and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00a.m. until service time.
Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Mask and social distancing are recommended.
