Herman Claude “Dickie” Roark, 92, of Lepanto, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, June 8, 2020 at his home. He was born on May 4, 1928 to Jesse Medders Sr. and Trotty Myrtle Lay Roark.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons: Steven Wayne Roark and Anthony Dale Roark, the mother of his children: Novella Lumley Roark, two brothers: Joseph William Roark and Jesse Medders Roark Jr. and two sisters: Barbara Halcom and Sue Franks.
Dickie is survived by his wife: Carline Freeman Roark of Lepanto, four sons: Clifford Ray Roark (Laquita) of Hickory Ridge, Gary Prentice Roark (Barbara) of Keiser, Jimmy Doyle George (Mary) of Lepanto and Gary Dean George (Diane) of Newport, one daughter: Donna Rash (Harold) of Lepanto, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, four nieces, five nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be private.
Interment will be at Coffeyville Cemetery at Possum Grape, Arkansas.
Due to COVID-19 Mask are required upon entering the building and must be worn at all times while in the building. Social Distancing will be practiced inside and outside the building.
